IMPHAL, May 25: The proscribed RPF on Friday clarified that two women whom the BSF claimed to have arrested along the Indo-Bangladesh border are not its colonel Lily Leima and captain Memma, saying the two are now discharging their duties safe and sound.

RPF in a press clarification issued by Taohangsu Heiremcha, chief of department of publicity and information, sarcastically stated that the BSF commander, who branded the two fragile women struggling hard for survival as colonel Lily Leima and captain Memma of RPF/PLA, should be examined by the BSF medical department on whether he had been hit on the head by his father during childhood.

The statement said the BSF should understand that there is only one and only Lily Leima in the outfit and that she is now concentrating on her duty.

The two women who were nabbed at Pillar No-1272/2 on Indo-Myanmar border are not related with RPF/PLA in any way, it said, adding that arresting of the two innocent women is an act of cowardice.
