IMPHAL, May 18: A condolence program in connection with the sudden demise of the Chungkham Rani Devi, the maker of the famous Rani-fee, was held today at the office of the Handloom & Textiles, Porompat, Imphal East. During the program, officials of Imphal East Handloom & Textiles, Weavers, Designers and Master Weavers of the various Imphal East Clusters participated. Floral tribute and two minutes silence were offered to the departed soul and also Rani’s great contributions to Manipuri Society were remembered.
