IMPHAL, June 27: Discovering the presence of UG cadres in Moreh, ward no 4, troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (S) launched operation in the area and apprehended one KCP and one UNLF cadres on June 26. The apprehended persons were identified as self-style Pvt Lalboy of KCP, 36, son of Lian Muang of Moreh ward no 4 and self-style Capt Laishram Leichind N Singh of UNLF, 23, son of Laishram Punpi Singh of Moreh ward no 7. One Pt 32 mm pistol with four live rounds were recovered from the apprehended persons who alongwith recoveries were handed over to Imphal West Police Station, said a PRO release.
