IMPHAL, June 14: As part of observing the 84th Birth Anniversary of Argentine Marxist revolutionary Che Guevera, the Irawat Charitable Trust organized the unveiling of a statue of the guerrilla leader at Eco-green park, Ishika, Imphal East, today.
The statue was unveiled by All India Trade Union Congress Manipur, general secretary, Sotin Kumar and Central India Trade Union, Manipur secretary Ksh Santa during a simple function.
The function was attended by All India Trade Union Congress Manipur, general secretary, Sotin Kumar, Central India Trade Union, Manipur secretary Ksh Santa and Irawat Charitable Trust Manipur, Secretary Dr Hijam Harnett as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
