IMPHAL, June 23: The Council of Teachers’ Association today convened a press meet this evening at the Manipur Press Club demanding their due salary of four months and further appealed the government to distribute their pay at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons, its president said there is a need in the education system in the state.
He continued the teachers need to be paid regularly and the government schools should function properly.
