IMPHAL, June 28: A bullet ridden dead body of a man was recovered by police from Kutubu Loukol close to the village of S Pheijing under Yairipok Police Station in Imphal East late afternoon Thursday.
The body was spotted by some villagers around 4pm following which the Yairipok police was informed about it.
Two bullet injury marks were found on his body—one on the forehead and another on the right cheek.
The Meitei looking man wears a green T shirt and a track-pant in black colour. His limbs were found tied.
The body has been deposited to JINIMS mortuary for identification.
