IMPHAL, June 1: Keibi High School blank Andro High School by 6-0 in the first quarter final match of the U-17 District Level Imphal East Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament at the Khuman Lampak practice ground.
The entire match belonged to Keibi High School with W Santa scoring the opening goal in the 11 minute of play. The Keibi boys continued to score goals at regular interval and ended the match with a 6-0 scoreline.
In the second quarter final match, S Basanta of Excellent Academy scored a solitary goal for his team and defeated Srivan High School with a 1-0 scoreline.
Krishan and Khepminlal of Brighter Academy scored one goal each handed Yourbung High School a 2-0 defeat in the 3rd quarter final match.
North Eastern English School ended the fourth quarter final on a winning note by registering a 2-0 win against Khundrakpam High School.
Tyson scored both goals for the winning team.
Meanwhile, in the U-14 boys category of the tourney played at the same ground, North Eastern High School defeated Ramanand High School by 7-0 with Raj, Telheiba and Thangan scoring two goals each for the winning team.
Sundaynoon added another for the winners and ended the match with a 7-0 win.
In the second match, Maheirol Sindam Shang defeated Manipur Public School by 8-0 with Dinachandra of the winning team scoring a hattrick.
Khundrakpam Public School defeated Mega Manipur by 4-1 in the 3rd match while Yourbung High School blanked Nongpok Maheikhol by 13-0 in the 4th match of the day.
