IMPHAL, June 4: A belated report has informed that a quick reaction police team of the Kangpokpi PS led by SI Kamjalal Ngaihte had sized 300 litres of countrymade liquor from a woman in a Maruti car in front of the police station on June 2 at 8:30pm.
The woman has been identified as one Thenu Chongloi of Leimakhong Bazar in a Maruti car with regd no MN 0Z A 4789. The vehicle was coming towards Imphal from Senapati.
The seized item along with the woman has been handed over to the officials of the excise department the same evening for further legal action, says a police source.
