IMPHAL, June 2: Even as the hue and cry on the death of Manipuri students outside the state is yet to settle down, another student from the state has been found hanging dead at New Delhi under suspicious conditions.
A source has informed that the boy identified as Okram Bidyananda, 17 son of Kunjo of Pheija Leitong under Singajamei PS was found by his room-mates hanging around 11pm Friday night inside his rented room in New Delhi.
He is said to be a class XI student of Sant Hari Dash Public School, Bani Camp Najafgarh, New Delhi and was staying in a rented room near his school.
Family members have flown in to New Delhi following the news this noon.
