IMPHAL, June 12: The Millennium Institute of Sciences today felicitated its students who secured positions in the state MBBS/BDS entrance exam at the school campus at Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi today.
Students of the institute secured the 2nd, 6th 24th and 55th position in the entrance exam which was conducted on June 10.
Athokpam Kabita daughter of A Ajaykumar Singh of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal secured the 2nd position in the state conducted exam while Md Shehijuddin Shah, son of Md Reijajuddin of Pangong Makhong, Moirangthem Sanatombi Devi daughter of Govinda Singh of Kongba Uchekon Yuvraj palli and Sandip Bangarwa son of Surendra Singh of Paona Bazar secured the 6th, 24th and 55th position.
2nd position holder Kabita scored a total of 368 out of 400 with 96 in Physics, 88 in Chemistry and 184 in Biology. This was her second attempt.
The toppers during their joint felicitation programme gave credit for their successes to teachers of the school and echoed that they had managed to secure good marks due to the foundation provided by the institute teachers.
The felicitation was organized jointly by the institute and the Millennium Academic Career Counselling Studies.
