IMPHAL, June 7: A one-day medical assessment camp was held at Indoor Stadium, Chandel district headquarters yesterday for identification and issue of Disability Certificates.
Around 146 different categories of physically challenged persons participated in the medical assessment camp, All Tribal Disables’ Union Manipur (ATDUM) said in a release.
Out of the 146, 63 were locomotors, 46 hearing impaired, 27 visually impaired, and 10 mentally retarded persons.
The camp was jointly organized by ATDUM and Social Welfare Department, government of Manipur.
