IMPHAL, June 2: Local meira paibis today staged a sit-in protest against the recent bomb threat at the residence of retired Superintending Engineer of PHED, Yumlembam Indrakumar at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai here.
The demonstration participated by Sega Road meira Paibis was organized at the premises of Imphal Youth Rising Club, Keishampat Leimajam Leikai.
One of the meira paibi leaders while talking to media persons appealed to all concerned not to repeat such incident in future to avoid fear among the people. She also urged the concerned to clarify on the incident.
At the same time, the Imphal Rising Club also condemned the bomb threat at the residence of Indrakumar in a statement.
