IMPHAL, June 16: Moirang MLA Prithiviraj Singh and Project Director, MOBEDS inspected its Remedial Coaching Centre, Kwakta today.
The Manipur Minorities and OBC Economic Development Society, MOBEDS has said that the coaching centre has been conducted by the society under the financial assistance of the department of MOBC and SC, Manipur.
It has said that the MLA was happy on seeing the number of students participating in the coaching.
The MLA further expressed that the large scale participation of girls in the coaching will enhance the progress of the society and further assured all necessary help from his end whenever the need arise in consultation with the MOBEDS officials and the state Chief Minister, who is also the MOBEDS Chairman.
He also said that all differences should be shed and should work together for better tomorrow.
Project Director/MOBEDS, Manipur, Md Salaudin Khan while thanking the people of Kwakta for cooperating with the Remedial Coaching, said he was so happy to say that such a large number of students have turned up.
He said this is an approval of the quality of the coaching provided by MOBEDS.
He also said, all teachers posted in Kwakta and other centres were selected after a thorough screening by a committee comprising of experts.
He also appealed to the teachers to act as a “Change Agent” for backward minority community and added that discipline is the only way for turning talent into ability.
MLA Prithviraj and Project Director MOBEDS Md Salaudin Khan distributed note books, pens and other items to the Students.
