IMPHAL, June 25: Telephonic communication remained completely shut down today, services of private mobile service providers like Aircel, Airtel, Reliance remained unavailable causing inconvenience to the public.
The reason behind is said to be a Power Grid Co-operation of India Limited (PGCIL) line being disconnected due to bad weather conditions at Assam, the line was split at between Misa and Kapili .
Failure of mobile communication was also witnessed in Nagaland as the same line also caters to the state also.
