IMPHAL, June 1: Heavy rains and mudslides temporarily disrupted movement of trucks and passenger buses along National Highway 37 (Imphal-Jiribam road) since last midnight.
Personnel of BRTF cleaned up the disrupted section of the highway and continued the work till late afternoon Friday.
Normal flow of vehicles resumed despite the mudslides, sources said.
As of now, the route has not yet been blocked but it is unpredictable as heavy rains continue to hit the area, the sources added.
