IMPHAL, June 25: The Kangleipak Students’ Association today conducted the oath taking ceremony of its new office bearers at its Keishampat Head Office today.
The new office bearers of the student body include president, Th Premananda, vice president Ph manao, secretary general Surchand Ningthouja among others.
Speaking at the function, chief guest IPSA advisor H Ibotombi Kumar said students are future pillars of a society and in order to bring a developed future, the Right to Education should be considered equal to the Right to Life.
He further appealed to the concern authorities to provide concessions to students while travelling in public transportations.
He continued that Moral Science has become a high scoring subject among the students of the state, however the morality of the students have been degrading.
