IMPHAL, June 2: The Thangmeiband Development Organization today warmly welcomed the steps taken up by the constituency MLA Kh Joykishan regarding the distribution of PDS items in the constituency.
Expressing gratitude to the MLA, the organization conducted a press briefing at its office today.
Publicity secretary TAKDO, L Tejmani lauded MLA Joykishan for turning his attention towards the non-availability of PDS items in the constituency regularly.
Appealing to the concern district administration to take up action against the agent RK Chandrajit and the District Supply Officer for collaborating in siphoning off the items, he has further alleged that PDS items meant for March has been distributed in the month of May only.
He also urged the concerned Minister to look into the issue.
