IMPHAL, June 26: Discovering the movement of UG cadres in Chingdong Leikai Ward No 7, troops of 9 Assam Rifles launched an operation in the area and apprehended one UNLF cadre yesterday. The apprehendee was identified as No 2784, self styled private N Gobin Meitei, 22, s/o Late N Manohara Meitei, a resident of Chingdong Leikei, Moreh.
One point 32mm pistol with two live rounds was recovered from the person and was handed over to Imphal West Police station.
