IMPHAL, June 24: Women Welfare Association, Khoibu VCC held its first anniversary on Sunday at the Heinoukhong village ground in Chandel district.
The event was attended by Lukhosei Jou, Chairman, Chandel ADC, DM Korungthang, Member, ADC Khoibu, T Hopson Maring, Member, ADC as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
On the occasion, Chairman of Chandel ADC, Lukhosei Jou remarked that Heinoukhong village was a bonded area of the hill and the valley people for quite a long time. Lukhosei also assured that he would make effort to bring development in various fields for this beautiful area, seeking the support of the public to fulfill it.
At the event, CH Mesil, Member, ADC Langol, DP Thomas, Member, ADC Kangoi and LR Kethil, Member, Rilram also took part as special invitees, said a release from Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee.
