IMPHAL, June 3: A 28-year-old man was found dead at Khurai Angom Leikai Leimarou Loukon under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East this early morning.
The deceased is identified as Takhelmayum Ronald alias Molikul, son of Biren of Khurai Sajor Leikai. Family sources said, he had left home around 5 am Sunday riding a Honda Activa scooter. Ronald was found dead around 6:30 am.
It is said that he left a suicide note addressed to his parents, sister and friends saying he did not use drugs. He also asked forgiveness from them in the note apparently wrote before he died or killed himself.
A case has been registered with Porompat Police Station regarding the death. The body has also been handed over to the family after conducting autopsy at JNIMS mortuary.
