IMPHAL, July 10: A 407 mini truck of the 42nd Assam Rifles today hit a Dio scooter at Thoubal Okram this afternoon around 2:30pm killing one of the scooter pillion riders at the spot.
According to witnesses, the scooter was carrying three boys when it was struck by the AR vehicle.
The victim has been identified as Lisam Kishan, 18 son of Komol of Haokha Maning Leikai.
The two others riding on the same scooter with regd no MN 04D 2372 were also injured, according to sources.
Three of them were on the scooter Kishan Thoubal PS filed a case. Post mortem will be held at JNIMS tomorrow.
