IMPHAL, July 10: The education department has completed the formulation of Comprehensive Personal Identity System (CPIC) for its employees, however 1039 employees have refused to furnish their particulars for the CPIC, stated education minister M Okendro while clarifying to the cut motions raised to the demand of education department.
He further maintained that those 1039 employees who have refused to furnish their particulars might have some reasons. In the course of investigation, some high ranking officials of the department might also be pulled out, asserted Okendro.
He also stated that a textbook development corporation will also be setup to make the textbooks available to the students timely. The in-charge posts in the government colleges of the state will be regularized through MPSC on 50 percent promotion and 50 percent fresh recruitment, education minister added.
The Manipur Education Code will be implemented soon and the vacant posts of 270/280 chowkidars will also be filled up from among the Grade-IV employees of the education department, Okendro stated.
