IMPHAL, July 18: Three persons including two women were injured in a bomb explosion at Mayotang in Ukhrul Town at 7.50 pm today.
According to sources, the bomb explosion took place at the residence of one TS Boonson who works as a village level worker at Ukhrul BDO.
The injured persons were Boonson’s mother Ruth, 56, brother Terek, 30, and sister-in-law Chaini, 26. They were admitted to Ukhrul district hospital for treatment but later transferred to a hospital in Imphal in critical condition.
