LAMKA, July 16 : Protesting the bomb attack on the executive director District Rural and Development Agency , ED/DRDA C Hangshing yesterday at his resident, the staffs of the DRDA today organised a sit -in protest from 10 am to 3 PM infront of the office located within the DC/Ccpur office premises
Chairman of the DRDA staff Hem urged the miscreants to stop attacking the officials and instead cooperate with them for the development of the district through various developmental schemes.
Meanwhile the CDSU condemned the perpetrators in the strongest term and pointed out in a press handout that they are working not only for the welfare of students but also work for peace and development of all communities in the district.
It also urged one and all to shun the path of violence
The Zomi Students Federation, ZSF, has also condemned the perpetrators in a press statement appealing all to stop violent acts on any officials just to eke out some benefits and instead work towards equal development by means of peace and fairness
