IMPHAL, July 16: A UMTA meeting held today at 2 pm under the chairmanship of Dr Kh Ratan Kumar, Minister of Transport cum chairman of UMTA, the origin-destination of the three designated routes being operated by JnNURM Semi Low Floor buses have been reviewed and modified/extended considering the public demand and shall start operation in the modified/extended routes with effect from July 17.
Route 1: (Manipur University Gate – Koirengei/BSF) modified/extended as Lilong Bazar-Koirengei.
Route 2: (Malom Bazar – Chairenthong) modified/extended as Nambol Bazar-Chairenthong.
Route 3: (DC/IW, Lamphelpat – DC/IE, Porompat) modified/extended as Langol Game Village-Top Khongnang Makhong.
