IMPHAL, July 26: A DESAM team yesterday found that the Nambol Higher Secondary School was not functioning properly and among the 57 teachers, some had even signed their attendance on holidays.
The student attendance register for this year has not been maintained and the science lab built under RMSA has not been completed.
DESAM states that many teachers fail to attend their duties as evident from the attendance register, the signature have been done on a weekly basis as the tell tale sign made on Sundays and other holidays state.
The concerned authorities should check the misadministration in the interest of the students, it said.
Further, DESAM wishes the best to the five Manipuri athletes who will participate in the London Olympics.
