IMPHAL, July 24: All Tribal Chiefs’ Forum, Manipur has appealed to the state authorities to take up necessary action to redress the failure in jhum cultivation in the hill districts of Manipur, particularly in Nungba sub-division, Khoupum Block, Tamei and Taosem Block under Tamenglong district and also in Ukhrul, Chandel and Churachandpur due to scanty rainfall.
