IMPHAL, July 4: Imphal East district has been under 144 CrPC prohibiting assembly of five or more persons, carrying of sticks, stones, firearms and weapons till 6 am of July 27 by an order of the District Magistrate.
The 144 CrPC has been imposed in the district since June 28 following report that there is likelihood of causing serious breach of peace, disturbance to public tranquility and grave danger to human lives in the district, a statement from District Magistrate, Imphal East said.
