IMPHAL, July 16: KIYC, Kshetri Awang Leikai starts Imphal Super Division league campaign with an easy win against ABA, Kshetrigao today at the Khuman lampak Practice ground.
In the second day of the Maharaj Ghanendrajit Memorial Football Tournament, 2012, KIYC defeated ABA by 3-1.
In just the 6th minute of starting play, KIYC earned a spot kick after ABA Jr no 6 Salman Khan handed a ball.
The spot kick was taken by KIYC, Jr no. 7 Gandhi Kamei.
However, ABA player Salman Khan equalise the scoreline in the 25th minute.
Palmei Agassi netted the winner for KIYC during additional time in the 80+1 minute.
The match was played for just 40 minutes in each half.
