IMPHAL, July 21: A one-day orientation program on ‘Research Methodology’ for ten selected research scholars of the Tribal Research Institute, Chingmeirong, Imphal for the year 2010-2011 was conducted at the conference hall of the institute. Research Methodology lectures were delivered by Dr S Singsit, chairman of MPSC, for ‘Traditional Concept of Ownership of Land, Forest and other Natural Resources in Tribal Societies,’ Dr M Horam on Tribal concept of crime and justice, Dr RK Ranjit on Monograph of Monsang and Moyon and Prof Yashwanta Singh on Studies on Development of Tribal languages. Z Solomon, joint director, TRI and K Lunkim, deputy director, TRI were also present at the function.
