IMPHAL, July 14: Chairman of National Panthers Party and member of the PA Sangma Election Campaign Committee Prof Bhim Singh on his whirlwind tour of India states today touched down at Imphal.
Talking to reporters at Imphal airport today Prof Bhim Singh appealed to all the legislators of Manipur to vote for PA Sangma as there is no mandatory party whip in the Presidential elections.
He said the J & K National Panthers Party has taken a conscious decision to support PA Sangma with a strong resolve to strengthen the bonds of national integration from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Imphal to Dwarka.
Later, Prof Bhim Singh called on the Opposition leader and Trinamool Congress MLA Dr I Ibohalbi Singh at his Bapupara residence.
The Panthers Party leader has already written to Trinamool chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to support PA Sangma.
