IMPHAL, July 4: MGNREGS job card holders of Thoubal Leishangthem have yesterday claimed that the concerned Pradhan has siphoned off their wages and other funds.
Speaking at the press conference here in Imphal President of Leishangthem Awang Leikai Youth Centre Salam Nanao said the pradhan Payengjam Chaoba has denied them their MGNREGS wages.
The job card holders have been paid only a mere Rs 2000 each in the past five years.
He further alleged that the card holders are not made aware of even how much their daily wages should be.
