IMPHAL, July 13: The Tamenglong public has thanked local MLA Janghemlung Panmei for speedy intervention in clearing a massive landslide which occurred near Tamenglong Oil pump today morning.
The landslide buried a couple of two wheelers and the mud which covered the road for approximately 40 feet left the road impassable. Following prompt directive from the MLA, workers with tools cleared some section of the road to make it passable, later after co-ordination with the Works department,heavy machinery were pushed into action and the road was totally cleared.The locals expressed gratitude for the timely action initiated by the MLA.
