IMPHAL, July 11: Imphal West District Police Commandos arrested one active member of KCP (P) from Langol Ningthou area yesterday at 5:10 pm namely Ninghtougjam Jiten Singh @ Angang @ Chaiba, 34, son of (L) N Yaima Singh of Keirenphabi Mamang Leikai, presently staying at Langol Ningthou Leikai Type 3 quarter, said a police release.
In a separate release of SP, Thoubal said that a combined team of CDO Thoubal and 15 AR conducted search operation yesterday at Thoubal Babu Bazar and arrested two activist of KCP (Noyon) namely Yumnam Anand Singh, 42, son of (L) Y Kanhai Singh of Kiyam Siphai Babu Bazar and Thingujam Arun Singh, 29, son of Th Chandra Singh of Kiyam Siphai Amureijam Leikai.
Two demands letters of KCP (Noyon) signed by s/s finance secretary Tomthil Meitei were recovered from the possession of Y Anand Singh and some blank letter heads were recovered from the possession of Thingujam Arun Singh.
Further, the individuals reveal that they are working under the command of s/s activist of KCP (Noyon) namely, Mutum Somen Singh, 42, son of M Kunjahari Singh of Kiyam Siphai Laithagol Leikai.
