IMPHAL, July 24: United Revolutionary Front, Manipur clams its hand in planting a powerful explosive at Khumbong Navodaya located along the New Cachar Road on July 22.
A press release by Information secretary Ak Pibarel states that the armed wing of the outfit ,Manipur Army laid an ambush for the security forces. The outfit condemned the atrocities perpetrated on civilians of the area by the security forces due to the incident.
The Assam Rifles are planning to brew up trouble and target civilians , in the regard ,the public should remain wary. Their salary is paid by the government and they have to carry out some action as remaining idle cannot be tolerated by their higher ups. Staging a fake surrender ceremony will not affect the revolutionary movement.
Further, the Manipur Army has been given directives to engage the enemy at any favorable time , it said.
