IMPHAL, July 21: Ngangom Yaima, 47, of Irengbam Makha Leikai under Nambol Police Station who allegedly killed his own wife by hitting with an iron rod yesterday evening has been remanded to police custody for four days after being produced at the Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (JMIC), Bishnupur today.
The deceased woman is identified as Ngangom Ongbi Bilashini Devi. The couple has five children out of them two girls are already married.
