IMPHAL, July 16: A 51-year-old woman riding a Kinetic Honda succumbs to her injury at JNIMS after she was hit by a Tata truck carrying sand today at around 1:30 pm infront of Porompat Crossing ATM.
The deceased person is identified as Thongam (o) Ranjeshori, 51, wife of Th Shantikumar of Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai.
The driver along with the truck was arrested by Porompat Police. The registration number of the truck is MN-01-4206.
The dead body was handed over to the families after conducting a post-mortem at RIMS.
