IMPHAL, Aug 23: Heingang Police today handed over four young students from Chandel to their family members, school authorities and Chandel Police OC on finding them at the rented room of one of the student’s mother’s at Koirengei Nepali Basti after the four have been reported missing from their hostels since August 21 morning.
The four students are identified as David Monsang, 13 son of W Monos Monsang of Japhou Village, Chandel, LH Holyhring, 12, son of LH Anghlung of Khubung Kunou, WS Parhing, 13, son of (L) WS Kolarhing of Chakpikarong and M Tilminlun, 12, son of Boicy Haokip of Pallel bazar.
The rented room belongs to the mother of Tonharing alias Toto, 40 mother of WS Parhing and belongs to one Daphonro.
All four students are studying at the Angam memorial School in class IV, V, and VII.
Police source informed that, according to the four, they had left their hostel Shalom Home after the warden had mistreated them.
It is also learnt that a team of the Heignang PS was dispatched to the area after receiving information about the presence of the four students in the area.
