IMPHAL, Aug 31 (Agencies): The central and Manipur governments have signed a tripartite agreement with a small militant faction, under which the forces would stop operating against it, official sources said today.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi by representatives from the Centre, Manipur government and the Kangleipak Communist Party-Lallumba Faction (KCP-LF), a small militant group.
Under the agreement, peace talks would be held with the militant faction soon, the sources said.
