IMPHAL, August 1: The 18 hour band called by the Tangkhul Students’ Union at Ukhrul district affected normal activities in Ukrul town. Vehicles stayed off the road and shops remained closed in the town.
The bandh has been called demanding action against Zonal Education Officer, Ukhrul, Everest Zimik alleging that the officer has misuse several schemes of the SSA.
