IMPHAL, Aug 22: A truck driver reportedly kidnapped by armed miscreants on August 7 in the evening from Koubru Leikha on NH 2 under Gamnom Saparmeina police station was today released at Dimapur, according to police sources.
The driver is identified as Md Babu of Hayel Loubuk.
Although the driver was released safe and sound, it is still not known which group is responsible for the kidnap, the sources added.
