IMPHAL, August 2: The Khoupum Area Village Authority Council of Nungba Sub-Division, Tamenlong District, has informed in a statement to all the staff and teacher of the Khangsilhung Higher Secondary School; all the staff of BDO office; all the staff of SDC; all the staff of Electricity department; of Khoupum area to attend and perform their respective offices within this week i.e. on or before August 9.
The statement demanded the electricity office of the area to resume power supply within this week as it has failed to supply electric for the last 6/7 months.
It also urged the concern authority to start the repair work of roads from Bishnupur to Khoupum and Khoupum to Rengpeng within this week itself.
“The tower of BSNL which is now under process should be completed in this week and should start its function very soon by the concern authority,” it further said.
The Khoupum Area Village Authority Council will take necessary legal action against the above mentioned employees/persons in case of failing to do their respective aforesaid duty/work within the stipulated time, it warns.
