IMPHAL, August 21: Like elsewhere in the state, the Epathoukok also observed “Manipuri Language Day” on 20 August at their official premise at Uripok Naoremthong, UK Road and pledged together to work and promote the language at various levels and contribute in whatever way for the upliftment of the language.
During the solemn function held on 20 August, the delegates and participants emphasized the need to observe the day and upgrade as a State function and spread the awareness far and wide and seek adequately and proper due recognition besides the importance of nurturing the language in the interest of the general community and all concerned.
