Manipur,IMPHAL, August 25: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Manipur(RIMS) is all set to celebrate its 41 st foundation day in a befitting manner on September 14, 2012.
According to a press statement, the Director has already extended an invitation to the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad to grace the occasion.
Other key officials of the Ministry were also invited for this occasion, it said.
“Despite busy schedules of starting the Dental College and commencement of the 3rd session of College of Nursing the members of various sub-committees are working hard towards making the celebration a grand success. The Director is supervising the preparations to make it sure that everything goes as planned.”
“Apart from publication of a souvenir cataloguing the major milestones in the last 40 years some other publications will also be brought out on this day. The student groups shall also present cultural dances and other entertainments on the occasion”, it concluded.
