IMPHAL, August 4: 37 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) organized a medical camp at Shaluk village of Chandel district on August 3, 2012. The camp was conducted by a team of medical officers and paramedical staff of the Unit. More than 150 patients from Shaluk Tampi, Chakpikarong, L Kotlen and Thorcham villages were attended during the camp. An interaction session was also organised with the villagers and they were educated about various seasonal diseases and its precautionary measures. In another instance, 42 Assam Rifles organized a medical cum dental camp at Chandel on August 3, 2012. A total of 200 villagers took part in the camp, a release said.
