IMPHAL, August 4: As a part of its ongoing campaign “eikhoilairikningthinatamshi,” a team of Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) inspected Walengbam Leikai Junior High School yesterday, said a release of MSF.

According to the release, during the inspection the team had found the school’s building in a deplorable condition. The school has 11 regular staffs and around 40 students were found studying during the inspection.

However, the students cannot attend classes during the rainy season as the school is flooded and its roof starts leaking when it rains, it further said.

MSF has appealed the state government to upgrade these government schools in the interest of students.
