IMPHAL, August 19: The Royal School of Nursing, JN Hospital road today organized its 10th Lamp Lighting Ceremony at the Food Processing Training Hall, Opposite Dairy Farm.
The function was attended by Sagolband MLA, RK Imo Singh, Royal School of Nursing, President Dr N Kunjo Singh as the chief guest and the president respectively.
The Principal of the school took the oath of the newly admitted nursing students of the school.
Speaking at the function, RK Imo Singh said the nursing vocation is a kind of social and special services to the people.
He said, people in this field cannot take the vocation easily and should work with full sincerity.
He further lauded the Royal School of Nursing for providing quality education on the vocation to the aspiring nurses. He also lauded the teaching staffs, management and the students for providing their service to the people of the state.
He said a good educational institute needs good faculties and management. A proper mixture of this two makes the institution a good one, he said.
He said the Royal School of Nursing is one of the best examples of a good nursing school.
Dr N Kunjo Singh while appreciating the newly admitted students urged them to work and study with all sincerity and wished them success in their lives and coming exams.
