IMPHAL, Aug 26: : A snake-bite victim, identified as Mr Angou Singh, s/o Mr Temba Singh of Umathel Thoubal district recovered from critical condition after the medical office of 27 Assam Rifles, 28 sector administered life saving anti snake venom at their Unit hospital yesterday 25 August, a Press statement said and added, the victim was later referred to RIMS hospital.
In a separate intervention, troops of 30 Assam Rifles of 9 sector organised a lecture programme on alcohol abuse and prevention at Nilakuthi yesterday, 25 August, a press statement said and further stressed upon the importance of good relation between the armed forces and the local populace.
