IMPHAL, August 7: The Sarva Shiksha Abiyan State Mission Authority Manipur (SSA/SMA, Manipur) has notified in a statement to all concerned who are taking up unauthorized construction works that SMA/SSA or the state government will not bear any liability towards such unauthorized construction.
According to a release of SSA/SMA, Manipur said that it has reported of certain construction works taken up in schools without the knowledge of the state project office of SSA or Directorate of Education(S) and without any work order being issued by engineering wing of Education (S) department or any authorized agency.
It is strongly advised that such unauthorized construction must be stopped forthwith. The state government and SSA/SMA will not be responsible for payment of any liabilities towards such unauthorized/illegal construction, it further said.
