IMPHAL, Aug 4: A student has allegedly committed suicide at Chandigarh. The name of the deceased is Manoharmayum Reagan Sharma, 22, s/o M Surjit Sharma alias Mathel Sharma of Keibi Kumuda , Imphal East district under Lamlai Police Station.
Regan is presently undergoing a diploma course as an operation theatre technician and staying at Khuda Lahore of Chandigarh district along with his friends on rent. The room next to theirs was vacant and the room was where he had committed suicide. He was found hanging at around 3 am today. The case has been registered under a case unnatural death case and his mobile phone has been kept in the jurisdiction of the Chandigarh police.
His father, Surjit in a conversation with IFP said that he is en route to Chandigarh presently. According to him, there is no foul play in the regard and his son committed the act on his own will.
